The Miners baseball team’s season came to a close May 2 in a first round playoff series loss to Cedar. Park City dropped game one of the best-of-three series 15-3 and game two 10-7. In game one, senior Joey Breza led the Miners with two RBIs and in game two with a home run. Park City finishes the season 11-16. The Miners will graduate four seniors and look to open next season on the new fields at the high school next spring.  The Miners boys volleyball team’s season too came to a close on May 2 in a first-round playoff loss to regional foe Murray. Park City lost three sets to one, dropping set one 25-17, winning set two 25-20 and falling in sets three and four 25-17 and 25-20, respectively. The Miners end the season 8-16.
