Cowboys schedule sets up primetime stretch and historic Brazil game

The Dallas Cowboys’ 2026 schedule includes at least seven national television appearances, a three-game prime-time stretch and the NFL’s first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The NFL released the 2026 regular-season schedule on Thursday.
Dallas is currently scheduled for six
prime-time games in addition to its annual Thanksgiving Day appearance. Two of those prime-time games will be played at ATT Stadium, while four will be on the road.
The Cowboys will open the season Sunday, Sept. 13, against the New York Giants on NBC. It marks the fourth consecutive season Dallas will begin the year on the road.
Dallas will host the Washington Commanders in its home opener Sunday, Sept. 20, before facing the Baltimore Ravens in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, Sept. 27. The matchup will mark the NFL’s first game in Rio and the Cowboys’ second international regular-season appearance. Dallas previously played Jacksonville in London in 2014.
The Cowboys then travel to Houston on Oct. 4 before entering a three-game prime-time stretch.
Dallas will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, Oct. 8, on Prime Video before back-to-back road prime-time games against Green Bay on Sunday, Oct. 18, and Philadelphia on Monday, Oct. 26.
The schedule also includes consecutive home games against San Francisco on Nov. 15 and Tennessee on Nov. 22 before Dallas hosts Philadelphia on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, Nov. 26.
