Castle Hills neighborhood restaurant Clementine is thrilled to announce its May lineup of community-centered culinary events. Highlights include a one-day-only Mother’s Day tea party, an educational cookin
g collaboration with the San Antonio Botanical Garden, and the return of the beloved Slice Swap.
WHAT:
San Antonio Botanical Garden X Clementine
James Beard Award finalist Chef John Russ heads to the San Antonio Botanical Garden for an educational, hands-on cooking class rooted in seasonality. Open to guests 18 and older, the experience offers an intimate look into the techniques behind the restaurant’s ever-evolving menu.
Tickets are $90 or $80 for members and include a two-hour lesson, two drink tickets, and a collaborative, guest-curated meal, enjoyed amid the lush garden landscape. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
Friday French Lunch
This month’s one-day-only lunch highlights the flavors of spring with a guided four-course prix fixe menu, priced at $65 per person, with two options per course.
The seasonal menu features French-inspired dishes such as chilled spring pea vichyssoise, warm potato and smoked fish salad, sea trout grenobloise, and strawberry meringue entremet.
Walk-ins are welcome, though reservations are encouraged via OpenTable HERE.
Patio Pearls
Patrons are invited to cherish the final weeks of spring at Patio Pearls, a beloved monthly community gathering, on Thursday, May 21. The no-charge event features fresh-shucked oysters, a curated selection of wines, and live tunes from local artist Chris Guerrero. Set on the patio, the evening invites guests to settle in, connect, and ease into a relaxed spring night.
Following the event, guests are invited to continue the evening with the eatery’s infamous Feed Me experience, offering a natural extension to the night.
Slice Swap
Acclaimed pastry chef Elise Russ invites cake lovers of all ages to Clementine’s biannual cake party on Saturday, May 30. Guests are encouraged to bake or buy their best cake, bring it to share, and join in on an afternoon centered around cake, community, and the flavors of spring.
Guests are encouraged to bring containers for take-home slices and labels to share what they’ve baked. Sign-up for the first Slice Swap of the year is now open, and dessert lovers can reserve their spot HERE.
