NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The New Kent County School Board has chosen an interim representative for District 1 after a previous board member resigned to relocate last month. At the May 4 meeting, the school board appointed Jessica Stewart as the interim representative for the district, replac ing Keith Pagano, who vacated the position due to his relocation to District 2. Superintendent Brian Nichols told the board that Pagano has stepped down from his position during its April 7 special meeting. District 4 representative Ron Vought was elected chairman shortly before the announcement.
