Man found dead, 3 people and a dog hurt in reported stabbing INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person is dead, and at least three others are injured, after a stabbing on the southwest side of Indianapolis. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called around 2:40 p.m. Tuesday to a home in the 3200 block of South Lockburn Street. That’s a residential area off of Kentucky Avenue in the Mars Hill neighborhood. Outside the home, officers found a man and two women. All three had stab wounds and were taken to an area hospital. The women were reported to be in critical condition, and the man was in serious but stable condition. Inside the house, officers located a man and a dog. The man was deceased, and the dog had serious injuries. Indianapolis Animal Care Services Investigators did not provide any details about a suspect in this case, but believe this is an isolated incident. IMPD said at 4 p.m. that officers will remain at the scene for several hours, collecting evidence and speaking with potential witnesses. Police are encouraging anyone with information about this incident to come forward.
