Lake County authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting in north suburban Mundelein that left a woman dead.According to a news release from the Lake County Major Crime Task Force, police were called to a home on the 1100 block of Ashbrook Drive just before 6 p.m. Monday.A caller infor med police a female relative was threatening to harm herself and stated she “wanted the police to kill her.”When officers arrived, the woman was seated on the back patio.
