ARTISTS’ MARKET
The Artists’ Market is a juried marketplace which this year will have nearly 100 artists, artisans, and makers with their original art. It will take place under the JFX at Hillen and E. Saratoga Streets. The Literary Arts Prints section of the Artists’ Market will be on the 200 block of Holliday Street.
“Since the festival’s inception, the Artists’ Market has been the trademark element of Artscape,” said Barbara Hauck, director of Arts Council Programming. “This unique marketplace showcases an incredible variety of disciplines, techniques and materials, and with the diversity of this year’s participating artists, I know that everyone will find a piece they’ll want to take home.”
The market includes an Emerging Artists program, making it easier for up-and-coming artists to participate in the marketplace and for the public to see their work. From a group of applicants, ten emerging artists were chosen for a free booth in the Artists’ Market.

Local food trucks and festival tents will offer a range of flavors ad cuisines to satisfy cravings of all sorts. Festival-goers can choose from African, Asian Fusion, Creole, and more, while also enjoying seafood, barbeque, hot dogs, deli, and smoothies. Dessert options will never be far away.
Baltimore’s Chef Cat is curating the Flavor Lab and invited local home chefs to take the stage with her for some cooking demonstrations, too.
