Iron Hill Brewery Restaurant is continuing to make a comeback by reopening its riverfront location in Wilmington, Delaware, after last year’s bankruptcy. Last year, the Delaware-founded company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy just weeks after abruptly closing all of its locations after nearl y 30 years in business. The company didn’t provide a reason for the closures, but several locations had gone out of business over time, citing changing market conditions. Now, new owners are reviving Iron Hill. The Center City Philadelphia location reopened in April along Market Street, followed by the Wilmington location along Justison Street this past weekend for Mother’s Day. “Wilmington is now open! A return rooted in community! Teamwork makes the dream work. This management team is extremely excited to see you soon!” the organization had written in a social media post. The reopening of Wilmington and Center City locations is just one aspect of the company’s revival, according to its website; soon, locations in Huntingdon Valley, Lancaster, and Hershey, Pennsylvania, will open.
