A woman died following a single-vehicle crash in Antioch early Saturday morning, according to the police department. Antioch police said officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision in the area of G and Drake streets at around 1 a.m. There, officers found a 51-year-old woman wh o had been ejected from a vehicle, according to authorities. They said the woman was taken to the hospital with major injuries and she later died. The police department said preliminary information from witnesses and evidence suggests speed and impairment may have been contributing factors.
