(KRON) -- Oakland's hometown hero, gold medalist Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu, stepped on the 2026 Met Gala red carpet sporting a red Louis Vuitton dress with dramatic ruffles. Liu, 20, made her Met Gala debut Monday at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The athlete's strapless go wn, coupled with her iconic blonde-and-brown striped halo hair, made a fashion statement at the star-studded affair.
