A Mountain View neighborhood will have to spend another week boiling tap water if they want to use it to drink and cook, the city announced Sunday. City officials said they do not anticipate fully lifting the “Boil Water” restrictions for the affected homes before the weekend of May 9 and May 10. This is due to the latest water tests coming back positive for low levels of coliform bacteria in one area of the neighborhood, according to the city. They added these tests remain negative for E. Coli.
