RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond's largest annual Asian cultural celebration returned to the River City on Saturday. Thousands of attendees enjoyed food, live performances and community connection at the 28th annual Asian American Celebration at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Saturday. This year's celebration, themed "Discover Asia's Wonders," featured dozens of booths showcasing 17 Asian cultural heritages and communities. The celebration hosted more than 60 live acts throughout the day, including lion dance, martial arts demonstrations, Peking opera, Taiko drumming, instrumental showcases and fashion shows.
