Wasatch County Parks Recreation Announces InPerson Ticket Sale to Combat Resale Scams
May 02, 2026
Wasatch County Parks Recreation will once again host an in-person ticket sale for its highly anticipated summer events, giving local residents a fair and secure way to purchase tickets while reducing the impact of third-party resellers. After seeing success with the sale last year, the department
is continuing the in-person sale to help prevent scammers from purchasing tickets and reselling them at inflated prices. By requiring attendees to purchase tickets face-to-face, the goal is to keep tickets accessible and affordable for the community. The in-person sale will take place at the Wasatch County Recreation Center, where community members are welcome to line up inside the facility ahead of sales.
Ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 12 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and will continue on Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or until tickets sell out. To ensure fairness, purchase limits will be enforced. Each individual may buy up to 15 tickets per event, which can be distributed across any of the three days of that event. All purchasers must be 16 years or older and will be required to present a valid ID along with a matching credit card at the time of purchase.
Any remaining tickets following the in-person sale will be made available online beginning Monday, June 15 at 9:00 a.m. This year’s Fair Days, themed “Timeless Traditions,” will bring the community together with vibrant nightly themes, coordinated colors, and can’t-miss experiences that celebrate the heritage of Wasatch County. From competitions to community events, many registrations are now open for those looking to be part of the fair days heritage of Wasatch County. For the full schedule, event details, and registration information, visit the Wasatch County Parks Recreation website. Wasatch County Parks Recreation encourages those interested to plan ahead and arrive early, as demand for tickets is expected to be high again this year!
