RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A 42-year-old man is dead after police said he was found shot in a vehicle in Richmond's Southside early Thursday morning. At 12:06 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 700 block of Richmond Highway for a report of a shoot ing. When officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Calvin Carter of Richmond inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Carter was taken to a local hospital, where he later died due to his injuries.
