(CNN)– An antitrust lawsuit to block the Nexstar-Tegna merger now has bipartisan support. Republican attorneys general in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Kansas have joined the legal challenge. So have two more democratic state attorneys general in Massachusetts and Vermont. Thursday, April 30, 2026 , California’s attorney general said the bipartisan effort proves the move to stop the mega-merger is not controversial.
