(KRON) -- A semi-truck that authorities believe was involved in a fatal crash in the East Bay on Thursday drove away from the scene without stopping, according to the California Highway Patrol. Law enforcement is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying more witnesses to the crash and the se mi-truck that fled. The deadly collision occurred just before 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 580 in Livermore, east of North Livermore Avenue. According to CHP’s preliminary investigation, a gray Toyota Tundra overturned in the crash that also involved a gray Nissan Armada and a three-axle semi-truck without a trailer. (Caltrans) “The semi-truck continued driving eastbound without stopping at the scene,” CHP wrote.
