INDOT’s preparing to close ramps and lanes at I465 and I69. Here’s what you need to know

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There are several closures and lane restrictions set for this weekend as crews prepare to open the new ramp from Interstate 69 southbound to Binford Boulevard.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says the ramp is expected to open on or after Sunday, but the closu
res will begin Friday night.
Here are the changes drivers need to look out for:
From 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Sunday
Ramp from I-69 SB to SB Binford closed.
Ramp from 96th Street to I-69 closed.
Ramp from 82nd Street to I-465 SB closed.
From 11 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday
Ramp from I-69 SB to I-465 SB closed.
DETOUR: I-69 SB to I-465 WB, turn around at Michigan Road/U.S. 421.
I-69 SB will be down to ONE LANE between 116th Street and the I-465/I-69 interchange.
From 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Sunday
Ramp from I-69 SB to I-465 WB closed.
DETOUR: I-69 SB to I-465 EB, turn around at Pendleton Pike/U.S. 36
I-69 SB will be down to TWO LANES between 116th Street and the I-465/I-69 interchange.

Drivers will also have to be on the lookout for a new traffic pattern that INDOT says starts on or after Sunday, as well. Here’s where you will need to go:

Drivers coming from I-69 SB to SB Binford or WB I-465 should keep right before getting to 96th Street.
Drivers coming from I-69 SB to SB I-465 should keep left before hitting 96th Street.
