A local casting company is searching for bilingual Latino talent for season 2 of the HBO series, “Task.” Heery Loftus Casting said it is looking for men and women, 18 years old and older, who are interested in auditioning for several speaking roles in the show. Applicants must be bilingual in English and Spanish. The show follows Ruffalo, an FBI agent, who heads a task force to apprehend criminals. According to the casting company, season two will follow Ruffalo’s return as Agent Brandis who takes the helm of a new task force. However, the deeper the operation runs, the harder it is to tell who’s the target. Mahershala Ali will play Eddie Barnes, a seasoned and well-respected DEA agent in Philadelphia whose team comes into conflict with Tom’s unit, the casting company said. Season 2 of this series will begin shooting in the Philadelphia area and suburbs on July 6, 2026. All roles are paid positions, and will be part of a SAG-AFTRA contract.
