Ingredients1 pound cantaloupe about ½ a melon, preferably Fallon-grown Hearts of Gold variety1 cup water1 tablespoon lime juiceIceMint sprig for garnishHoney optional, to taste
InstructionsRemove skin and seed
s from cantaloupe, and dice into chunks. Add cantaloupe to blender and blend until smooth.Strain purée through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove pulp. Mix strained purée with water and lime juice. Add honey for sweetness if desired. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint sprigs.
