SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- More than 5,000 customers were without power in an outage Sunday night in San Francisco, according to PGE. The customers affected by the outage were primarily in the Marina and Presidio parts of San Francisco. PGE did not specify the cause of the outage, stating the outage w as "unplanned." Our team is evaluating the electrical system to identify damaged sections and make necessary repairs in order to safely turn the power back on," PGE wrote in its outage alert.
