(BCN)-- Alameda County District Attorney Ursula Jones Dickson announced on Friday that a 56-year-old man has been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting on Thursday. Prosecutors alleged that Tyrone Gobar is responsible for a shooting that occurred Thursday in the 1800 block of Wood Street. Knife-wielding man sought after stealing shoes from Fremont porch In addition to murder, Gobar faces charges of possession of a firearm by a felon with prior convictions and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person. The complaint also includes sentencing enhancements for the personal use of a firearm and for causing death, according to the district attorney's office.
