HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Choo choo! Ashland's favorite railroad extravaganza has arrived. Families, train lovers and community members gathered on Saturday, April 25, for the 22nd annual Ashland Train Day in Downtown Ashland for a full day of festivities. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., attendees hop ped aboard Amtrak, participated in raffles and shopping and explored model trains. From mini locomotives to racing railcars, there was something for every train enthusiast.
