Police said an investigation is underway after a man was found after sitting in a parked car along Frankford Avenue in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia after he had been shot multiple times. According to police, first responders to a report of a person with a gun, along the 5000 blo ck of Frankfort Avenue at about 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, found a man siting in the driver’s seat of a parked Buick Lacrosse suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man, police said, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition. At the scene, investigators said they recovered 13 spent shell casings.
