Two pedestrians were taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose Thursday evening, according to the police department. Police said the crash happened in the 2300 block of Carlton Avenue at around 7:24 p.m. Initially, authorities reported the pedestrians were taken to a local ho spital in critical condition, but later said the pedestrians’ injuries were considered non-life threatening.
