Fire Damages Outside of Northeast Lincoln Home Late Wednesday Night

Photo Courtesy of Jeff Motz/KFOR News.LINCOLN–(KFOR Apr. 23)–No reports of any injuries, but one man and his dogs appear to be okay, after a fire broke out shortly after 11pm Wednesday at a home near 67th and Colby, in northeast Lincoln.
A neighbor called in to report the fire and when crews arr
ived, the front portion was involved in flames.
“They had a really good stop on the fire. They eliminated it from getting inside,” said LFR public information officer MJ Lierman in firefighters’ quick efforts to knock down and control the fire.
Lierman tells KFOR News a fire investigator is still working to determine the cause of the blaze. Damage estimates are around $100,000 and officials said most of the damage appears to be to the exterior of the home.
