A pedestrian died Tuesday after being struck by a driver in San Jose, police said. The collision happened at about 4:23 p.m. in the area of Almaden Expressway and Canoas Garden Avenue, according to police. The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but did not survive. Roads in the area will be closed for several hours as officers conduct an investigation, police said.
