UPDATE: April 21 at 12 p.m. The Franklin County Coroner has identified the pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run crash off US 127 South near Cook Out in Frankfort as 52-year-old Carey Covington. Following the examination, the coroner’s report read that “it appears Ms. Covington’s injuries are co nsistent with being struck by a vehicle.” Original Story: FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Frankfort Police is asking the public for help following a Monday night vehicle versus pedestrian collision that left one person dead.
