For Defensive Player of the Year, San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is viewed as the favorite, while Most Improved Player, among other awards, are tougher to call. Wembanyama will also be in the running for MVP, alongside previous winners in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic.
