Three people injured after shooting downtown INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people were hurt in connection to a shooting in downtown Indianapolis early Sunday morning. The incident occurred just after 3 a.m. at the intersection on South Street near Illinois Street at a White Castle. At the s cene, police say they found an adult man shot and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. IMPD was then called to a scene on Madison Avenue where police found another man shot. He is also stable. That was near the intersection of South Madison Avenue and East Morris Street. Police say that they believe both men are connected to the original White Castle incident. They say they believe there was an incident in the parking lot that led to the shooting.
