INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana is set to host a diverse array of performing arts events this weekend, featuring renowned musical performances and theatrical productions across various venues.
Tom Alvarez highlights a lineup including performances by Michael Feins
tein and Sandi Patty, as well as concerts by the Carmel Symphony Orchestra and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
The musical offerings include a one-night-only performance by Feinstein, artistic director of the Center for the Performing Arts, and special guest Patty on April 17 at the Palladium.
The Carmel Symphony Orchestra, under conductor Kelly Corcoran, will present “Symphonic Odyssey” on April 18 at the Palladium. The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will perform “French Images: Debussy, Ravel and Faure” on April 17 and 18.
Alvarez also commented on the region’s rich cultural offerings. He added, “You know, we’re very lucky at Central Indiana to have not only this group, but we have other groups such as the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra and others.”
Feinstein, the artistic director of the Center for the Performing Arts, will perform with Patty. Patty is known for her Christian music but has also performed Broadway material and the Great American Songbook.
According to Alvarez, Patty recently performed at Hendricks Live.

Alvarez will feature Eugene Gwozdz, a Broadway pianist, music director, orchestrator, and arranger, on his podcast. Goetz has worked with many prominent artists.
