Bordner died in a prisoner of war camp in the Philippines at the age of 24 while serving in the U.S. Army during World War II.On Wednesday, an honor guard removed the casket from the plane as many spectators watched the solemn ceremony.Bordners funeral will be on Friday at ST. Anns Catholic Church, followed by a graveside service with military honors, will be held at 12:15 in the afternoon at Mountain View Cemetery.
