Law enforcement officials in Philadelphia have released surveillance footage in the hopes of tracking down an individual believed to be responsible for the slaying of a 26-year-old man who was shot and killed in an altercation at a convenience store in University City on April 6, 2026. Police sh ared video of the suspected gunman on social media on Thursday. Police said the deadly shooting occurred after two men were involved in a fight inside a convenience store along the 4000 block of Market Street at about 4:40 p.m. on April 6, 2026. During that altercation, police said, 26-year-old Savion Pollard-Poulson was shot and killed by a gunman who fled the scene. Officials said the suspected killer was spotted riding an electric scooter in the area of 4100 Aspen Street as he fled the scene of the slaying. Police described the suspect as a man in his 40s, with a thin build and a mustache who was wearing a black “Guess” hooded jacket, distressed blue jeans, black Nike Air Max Goadomes boots and white head phones at the time the shooting occurred. Police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
