‘Mental Health and the American Family’ Summit Support, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness, promoting understanding and mobilizing resources to address mental health challenges in Park City and Summit County, will host a free seminar as a prelude to Mental Health Awareness Month, at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at Peace House, 700 Round Valley Drive, #115. The event, titled “Mental Health and the American Family: Stress, Connection and Resilience,” will explore how modern family life‬ shapes mental health. Saturday Morning Nature Walks at the Swaner Preserve Saturday morning nature walks are held at 9:30 a.m. every week at the Swaner Preserve EcoCenter, 1258 Center Drive at Kimball Junction. The cost is $10 per person. When snow is on the preserve, nature walkers use snowshoes. Pre-registration is required for all Saturday Nature Morning Walks. Walk-ins are not available at this time, and all tours are capped at 15 participants. Registration closes at 7 a.m. the day of the scheduled walk.
