Daytime closure planned April 16-17 LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 14, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled road closures on KY 300 in Boyle County for cross drain replacement. KY 300 will be closed between mile points 0.0 and 3.0 on Thursday, April 16 and Frid ay, April 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily, weather permitting. The closures are necessary for cross drain replacement. Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours. Suggested alternate routes include KY 34 and Alum Springs Cross Pike. Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area. All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
