(BCN)-- Police arrested a 53-year-old woman suspected of threatening people with a knife near a Santa Rosa grocery store on Sunday morning.
About 9:45 a.m., several 911 callers reported that a woman armed with a large knife was chasing people into the street and attempting to stab them near Safeway
, in the 2200 block of Mendocino Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the suspect, later identified as Tiffany Espinoza, near the front of the Chase Bank building.

No other injuries were reported.
Espinoza, a transient, was was arrested and booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of criminal threats, brandishing a weapon and resisting officers.
