BATON ROUGE - It took less than 90 minutes for No. 21 LSU softball to finish its second game against the No. 12 Arizona Wildcats. Both the Tigers, and a large portion of the fans were wearing teal for the "Geaux Teal" game. The Tigers only scraped together three hits all game, but that was enough t o get the win with CeCe Cellura going a full seven innings in the circle. The Tigers held off Arizona to win 3-1.The Tigers scored two in the bottom of the first. Kylee Edwards hit an RBI triple and was then brought home on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Alix Franklin. Had the Tigers not scored for the rest of the game, that would've been eough to get the win.Cellura pitched a beauty of a game. The only run Arizona scored was unearned, and the Wildcats didn't get a baserunner until the third.nbsp; The win gets the Tigers a series victory over a top 15 opponent.nbsp;Permalink| Comments ...read more read less
