4-10-26-Pedal to the Pacers INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A community bike ride and pregame celebration will return to downtown Indianapolis this weekend as part of Earth Month festivities. “Pedal to the Pacers,” presented by Upland Brewing, is scheduled for Sunday, April 12. The event invites participants to gather for a pre-ride party before joining a guided bike ride to a Pacers game. The event is organized by Pacers Sports Entertainment and coincides with the Indiana Pacers’ final home game of the season against the Detroit Pistons. Activities will begin at 4 p.m. at Upland Brewing Co. Fountain Square, where attendees can enjoy music, community activities and pregame festivities. The group ride is set to depart at 5 p.m. Cyclists will travel along the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, following a police-escorted route to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in time for the 6 p.m. tip-off. An exclusive ticket package for participants includes a limited-edition event T-shirt, access to the pregame ride, a beverage voucher, complimentary bike valet parking and a game ticket. Tickets are available through the Pacers’ website. At the arena, riders can take advantage of free bike valet service at the Virginia Avenue garage before heading inside to watch the game. A return ride option will be offered during the third and fourth quarters, with designated ride leaders guiding participants back to Fountain Square.
