A Thursday autopsy found a 31-year-old man was fatally assaulted in a Garfield Park neighborhood apartment, officials said.Police found Davonta F. Curtis unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head inside a home in the 3100 block of West Madison Street about 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, Chicago police sai d.But Curtis, who was pronounced dead on the scene, died of multiple blunt force injuries during an assault, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
