In response to a letter writer who supports Donald Trump’s decision to attack Iran, you and many others prefer to believe the lies that are fed to you by right-wing sources than to fact check (“Finally, a president ready to take on Iran,” Star-Advertiser, April 5). The facts are that in 2016, Barack Obama achieved an agreement with Iran to reduce its uranium output and limit its nuclear capabilities in exchange for lifting of sanctions and embargoes.
