CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Thousands of kids will be able to fly kites for free this weekend as Chesterfield's annual Kite Day returns. The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 12, at River City Sportsplex, 13030 Genito Road. The first 1,300 kids aged 12 and under will r eceive free kites from SERVPRO. Attendees can also bring their own kites to the event. Kite Day will also feature children's train rides, music, bounce houses, glitter tattoos and more.
