(KRON) -- A burglary suspect who detectives thought targeted 35 separate storage units across a three-day period in February is now tied to 75 burglaries across multiple cities, according to the Santa Clara Police Department. SCPD said it identified the series of storage unit burglaries on Feb. 23 and later identified the suspect's vehicle through automated license plate reader technology. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the unidentified suspect's residence and storage locations outside of Santa Clara. The suspect was located and arrested Tuesday following surveillance efforts from detectives, said police. Santa Clara PD added, "Searches of the suspect’s storage units and vehicle uncovered a large amount of stolen property, stolen firearms including a homemade assault rifle, ammunition, memorabilia, street narcotics, identity theft documents, and burglary tools."
