A traffic collision between a school bus and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of S. Meridian Rd. and W. Amity Rd. caused significant delays for morning commuters on Wednesday.As of 8:45 a.m., the roadway is reopened, and traffic is flowing.The crash was reported at approximately 6:42 a.m., and emergency crews immediately were dispatched to the scene of the accident.According to the Meridian Police Department, a school bus was turning east onto Amity with a flashing yellow signal when a passenger vehicle traveling northbound through a green light entered the intersection and the crash occurred.The driver of the passenger vehicle was later transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.No children were on the bus at the time of the accident. ...read more read less
