Once upon a time, Kaimuki residents could conveniently take the bus to Kaimuki Town to eat, shop and bank. Kaimuki middle schoolers could take the bus directly to their public library after school. It was an efficient way for employees and clients to get to places like Kapiolani Community College, D iamond Head Theatre and the State Health Center.
