The TSA checkpoint at Terminal F — the final shuttered remaining checkpoint at the Philadelphia International Airport — was reopened on Tuesday morning. With this reopening, all TSA checkpoints at PHL have now reopened after seeing weeks of interupations amid a partial government shutdown. Reopenings began with the start of the new month after TSA agents had been working without pay for over a month due to the government shutdown impacting the Department of Homeland Security. But, they began receiving pay again after President Donald Trump signed an executive order. The shutdown remains in place and it is unclear when Congress will pass a funding bill, which has been stalled due to disagreements over immigration enforcement tactics.
