A suspect is in custody after a man was shot and killed in the DoubleTree by Hilton in Reading early Sunday morning, police said. The shooting happened in a first floor hallway of the hotel at 701 Penn Street at around 12:51 a.m. on Sunday, April 5, police said. When officers arrived at the scene, they took the unidentified man to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.
