The union representing Philadelphia‘s firefighters and paramedic units has asked for prayers for two of its members who were injured during a fire on Saturday, April 4. “Please pray for two of our members from Engine 50 who were injured Saturday night fighting a dwelling fire on the 500 W. bl ock of Westmoreland Street in North Philly,” the union’s social media post read. “We are hoping for the best as they are still hospitalized suffering from burns.” NBC10 was not able to immediately confirm how serious the burns were, but is working to learn more. The scene of the fire in Philly’s Kensington neighborhood on Sunday morning showed a rowhome with its interior severely burned. No injuries to civilians or a cause for the fire have been announced.
