When I drove the 2025 Fiat 500e Coupe around Atlanta, the majority of commentary ranged from “cute,” to “adorable,” and “I want to go home and cuddle it.” Although the latter had me a bit puzzled about how that could occur, this car’s petite, two-door frame received the most admiratio n from the ladies. Considering the 500e’s length was a mere 142.9 inches, it was presented in the popular rose gold exterior and being all-electric which kept it quieter than a napping baby, I understood the starry eyes it received. This car is ideal for commuting: zip around town, pick up items from the weekend farmer’s market, go on a date, or handle any short-distance trip before recharging the 42-kWh lithium-ion battery after achieving an average of 149 miles in city and highway driving. Using a DC fast charger, you can go from 0% to 80% in about a half hour, which is another plus. Talking style, Fiat makes a definite fashion statement with purpose. The vibrant color with a metallic finish, paired with 17-inch multi-spoke aluminum wheels, chrome accents, and signature LED lighting, ensures every driver flaunts European flare. Oh, and parking is effortless, the 500e’s size allows it to match the parking capacity only a motorcycle could rival. In a busy city, you will yell “Winning!” every time a standard-sized sedan or bigger passes up a space only this commuter could fit in. Underneath its chic frame, the 500e delivers smooth, instant acceleration typical of EVs. However, the one-pedal driving and regenerative braking provide nimble maneuvering, plus the optional eCoasting offers a more traditional glide when demanded. Numbers top out at 117 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. For its size, this was more than enough to boost the excitement level behind the wheel. Inside, the cabin feels elevated to impress up to four people, although two adults would obviously be very cramped in the back. (Honestly, even one would, so keep the carpooling option to a minimum.) The Customer Preferred Package 21B Icona Edition I reviewed here added nice appointments like a body-color dashboard, cream-hued vegan leather seats, a TechnoLeather steering wheel, and a “La Prima” badge. Heated front seats and automatic climate control were also comfort pluses, while the airiness and minimal design did not remind me that I was in a mini-compact vehicle. On the tech side, the seven-inch color display, Uconnect 5 system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Google Android compatibility were all welcome delivered through the six-speaker sound system. Want more? The Alexa Built-in, wireless charging, and a Wi-Fi hotspot step up connectivity to a higher level. Safety features are plentiful, including forward collision warning, lane departure warning, drowsy driver detection, ParkView rear backup camera, and rear park assist, all of which come standard.   Starting at just under $30,000 and just under $35K fully equipped, the 2025 Fiat 500e Coupe won’t inspire you to do a cross-country trip, but if it’s about personality, efficiency, and ease getting around the city, the 500e is a strong suggestion. Just know it’s adorable because you will be reminded that every day from onlookers who want to “take it home and cuddle” it.  Fuel Economy: In MPGe, 121 city/100 highway/110 combined Price: The 2025 FIAT 500e Coupe is $34,745 including options, handling, processing and delivery as reviewed.
