LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 6, 2026) — Keeneland College Scholarship Day is Friday, April 10, and University of Kentucky students can catch a free ride to the track with Wildcab Vouchers. UK Transportation Services, Keeneland, and Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resources (POWER), a un it of the UK’s Office for Student Success, are collaborating to provide students with a one-time $15 voucher for free or discounted Uber rides. Students who sign up for Wildcab Vouchers can claim this additional voucher for service between Keeneland and campus for use 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, April 10. Students can also share the ride, ensuring free or discounted transportation to and from the event. Any amount more than $15, including the driver’s tip, is the student’s responsibility. Additional voucher terms and conditions may apply upon redemption. Scholarships available A total of $40,000 in scholarships will be given to full-time college students during the race day. Drawings will be held throughout the afternoon for 10 $2,000 scholarships provided by Keeneland and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association and two $10,000 scholarships provided by Lane’s End Farm. Register online for the event. Students must register and attend the race day to qualify for the scholarships. How to sign up for Wildcab Vouchers Signing up is easy. If you’ve already done so for the spring semester, note that the Keeneland College Scholarship Day voucher must be claimed separately. The Keeneland voucher can be added to your account by Monday, April 6. It provides students with free or discounted Uber rides throughout Fayette County.
