(KRON) -- Vallejo police are investigating the city's second homicide of the year after responding to a disturbance at a residence at 1:37 a.m. Friday on the 900 block of Porter Street. Police said officers located a woman outside the residence with at least one gunshot wound. Despite the life-savi ng measures by officers and paramedics, the woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The motive and circumstances behind the shooting are not yet known.
