CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Uptown Charlotte will have a more colorful look for the next couple of weeks. The annual Charlotte SHOUT! event kicked off on Friday. It’s a celebration of art, music and food from around our city. Opening weekend will include a soul band playing Friday night, and an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. We talked to a mom from Virginia who stumbled upon the event, and is glad she did. Michelle Van Steyn says, “It’s a beautiful day out. And we love art of all kinds. And this is an interesting exhibit because you get to interact with the pieces, which is fun for the kids.
